I love this place
The food is great, the staff is friendly and the setting is what you would expect. The only problem that I have is that I work almost the exact same hours that they are open, so I can only go on my days off!

It's not just dinner, it's an experience
Okay, so a lot of other reviews have said how expensive this place is. I have eaten at this location and the one on West Charleston and have had a great time every visit. You are dining for over 2 hours and the interactive experience makes the time pass quickly. You don't "have" to cook your own food; you "get" to cook your own food. It's fondue. That's part of the appeal. The food is great and the portions are large enough to fill you up. The chocolate is to die for. The wine prices are actually very good compared to other restaurants in the same price range. I have compared, so I know. I don't care what anybody else says, if my wife and I want to spend a couple of hours over wine and great food, or if we have friends in town that we actually want to talk to, we will go to the Melting Pot. It's not for everybody, but it's a perfect fit for us. The minimalist decor and private booths are great. One of my favorite places to unwind.
