If McDonald's Did Mexican Food
You can see, the last review for this place was in 2006. It MUST have changed hands since then. My husband recommended we eat there while we were entering our bike at the 2009 Super Run there in Henderson, as he had eaten there a little over a year ago and said it was pretty good. We were parked right in front of the place (El Mexicano).
I ordered a chimichanga which was full of dry, tasteless chicken and the entire chimi was just dipped in oil for a mere few seconds. It was soggy and disgusting. The sides of rice and beans were embarrassing, dry, tastless & cheeseless (as was my chimi). Our margaritas were nothing more than strawberry 'slurpees', with not even a hint of alcohol ($7.50 for a slurpee?).
The service was fine, and the young man was very attentive. It's not his fault he has to bring this sorry excuse for mexican food to his customers everyday.
I was telling my husband, after we left, that we'd have been equally well off by just dropping $50 bucks inside the front door and not even going inside.

If you know good Mexican food......
....you won't eat here. Aside from the food being relatively tasteless, the staff always seems too busy (doing what, I have NO idea) to stop by your table to check with your satisfaction or to see if you'd perhaps like another beverage, etc. Our food took ages to arrive; once it did, it was barely lukewarm. We didn't send it back for fear of having to wait another half-hour for them to microwave it up to the appropriate temperature.
I remember Chapalas being so good back when they first opened up (many years ago). They've gotten lazy; there's no passion anymore. It's almost like fast food without the fast.

Assembly Line Lawyer
If you enjoy not having your questions answered respectfully, being kept in the dark about the progress of your case/paperwork and generally being treated as a nameless, faceless dollar-sign, choose Mr. Goldberg. Numerous visits to his office (which became necessary, as nobody on the phone could figure out where our file was) were met with annoyed reactions and an overall sense of apathy.
