Best Garlic Knots...

I usually eat at the Sahara location. Good sandwiches, pasta, etc. But go for the garlic knots (and ask for them fresh!)

Nice Clean Grocery Store

I'd give it 5, but the prices match the quality....if you're cheap, shop at Walmart, if you want to even somewhat enjoy the weekly grocery store trip, go to Smiths here.

Not very good

The food was OK.....but nothing BB King would be proud of. The wait staff obviously has been instructed to pressure sell you everything from drinks when you walk in to desert and coffee on the way out. It's like they are just getting that one-time tourist dollar and don't care about locals (figure that). Go somewhere else.

Best Place in Town for Pizza

This is the best place in Las Vegas that I have found for thick pizza loaded with toppings. Decent prices, ok atmosphere, but really good food. We go there for lunch at least 2 times a month (the work gang).

Excellent Optometrist

I have been seeing (get it...) Dr. Morrison for over 3 years now. He's as good an optometrist as you can get. Forget the chop shops with the cheap glasses (you get what you pay for).

Decent Service Department

They get to you quick when you come in. Not the most accurate getting your parts though. If you have a Toyota in NW Vegas, this is not a bad service station, but it is still painfully obvious that they are the same as all other dealerships for buying a car. Cheesy free hotdog lunches, goofy music, big smiling faced salesmen that pounce on you when you arrive....typical vegas dealership. This review is only for the service department though....fast enough, almost like a triage unit in the military, good call backs, etc.

Great place to buy from

I recently traded in a vehicle and bought one from Carmax. The only thing I didn't like...and this is so minor...was that they had issues with NV Federal Credit Union for financing the vehicle. You may pay more than if you went to personal party, but you'll never feel any pressure or that you just got sucked into a deal you didn't really want. 99.9% Satisfied. Check their website....it's true.

Used to be good...

They did some bad dental work on me that I had to have another dentist fix. They also incorrectly charged my insurance for a visit that did not exist. There's really no recourse for this and its not worth the fight, but thanks to Kudzu, I can at least rate this dentist. In a word....chop-shop.

Great

CHeap fast local car rental. Very good prices, and you can book it all online. I use these guys a lot for my out of town trips where I think my car might break down.

For the price, this is the best.

I guess it use dto be bad, but I took my 3 year old there for a matinee and it was clean, the people were friendly and of course the admission price is great. Just older movies....but little kids don't care.
