I have four children and two of them have been seen by Dr. W. He and his office have always been very helpful and caring. One of my daughters had her tonsils removed but only after careful study of her symptoms. My other dauther will have tubes in her ears soon. Dr. W. was more than thorough before perfoming surgery on my children. He has my upmost trust. After reading the other reviews I am sad to think they had a bad experience with this man, but it has not been my case at all. I will continue to see him.

After reading these comments before my surgery, and before seeing this doctor, I was extremely scared. Although after my visit, my worries were calmed. He answered all my questions, did a thorough exam, his staff was very patient. All the way through the steps of my surgery prior to and all up to and after, he has been very professional, not always gentle as I liked, and after surgery I was in a great deal of pain, (such is the surgery) but we discussed how sensative I was and he waited longer after numbing my nose to clean, look at and work. I have been overall very pleased with my experience.

I recently went to Dr. Weingarten for help with some swollen tonsils that I have. After waiting for almost an hour to get in to see him, which I understand is basically the norm now in the medical world but still annoying, he asked me questions about what was going on. I told him several times, but he did not listen & went to order something else that I told him I had done twice in the past (one of them being w/in the past few months). He is NOT a helpful dr & does NOT listen to his patients on what is really going on with them. He has a big head & thinks since he is the dr that his way is the only way, even tho was told different by the patient. I will never visit this man again.

Dr. Weingarten put tubes in my daughter's ears when she has never had a history or earaches. He put tubes in her ears during her her adenoid surgery without even notifying us first. He then had a superior attitude and was defensive when confronted about it later. I would never recommend seeing this doctor even if I had an emergency. He ruined our trust.

I went to see Dr. Weingarten since he was referred by a friend. I had cryptic tonsils and he said it was normal and that I should just purchase Biotene Mouthwash. The entire visit lasted less then 20 minutes and I was charged $124I think it was a waste of a trip since I continued to have the cryptic tonsils. I got a second opinion from another doctor and they said I should have had my tonsils taken out!

He is most helpful - managed to help me without surgery, when other doctors wanted to operate
