Wonderful
An extraordinary dentist with amazing experience in making treatment a success. Dr Pinkus is warm,friendly and very forward thinking. His staff is knowledgeable and always helpful!

Spam Faxes
Respectfully requested that this business cease to fax unsolicited advertisements through our office. Unprofessional female at Maryland Office told me to throw them away, then hung up. Judging from the fact that the responses are nasty when confronted with a problem, and polite only when given flattery, I'm sure she'll respond unprofessionally here too. Whatever. Untrained, rude staff members are generally a bad sign. I'd stay away from there...unfortunately the dentist probably doesn't know how badly they behave.

The truth is the truth...
All negative reviews are ridiculous according to Platnum Dental Care... I didn't come back for my 6 mth check up, it was my first visit there and my last. It was Dr. Pinkus who said I needed more than one crown and his diagnosis was incorrect.. Hygenist diagnosis was also incorrect. I know of several people who won't be back to Platnum Dental, so the lottery odds are increasing in patients favor. Truth hurts...

TRUTH DOES NOT HURT AT ALL,IGNORANCE AND DENIAL DOES!!!1.A PT.CAME BACK FOR A 6 MONTH CHECK UP,WHICH MEANS EVERYTHING WAS OK BEFORE.2.WAS TOLD BY A HYGIENIST,NOT DR.PINKUS,THAT NEEDS A DEEP CLEANING.3.DR.PINKUS GAVE PT.AN OPTION TO GO FOR A 2ND OPINION,MEANING NO PRESSURE,AND HIGH LEVEL OF PROFESSIONALISM,INSTEAD OF OFFERING TO "START ON THE SAME DAY"AS MANY PLACES DO.FUTHERMORE THIS PT.WAS TOLD ELSEWHERE A CROWN IS NEEDED.4.THE PROBABILITY OF 7 PATIENTS,AS THIS REVIEW CLAIMS, ENDING UP IN THE SAME OFFICE FOR A 2ND OPINION WITHIN THE SAME WEEK IS LESS THAN WINNING A POWERBALL LOTTERY!!!SEEMS LIKE THIS PATIENT IS REALLY DISHONEST,NOT PLATINUM DENTAL!!!GOOD LUCK TO YOU DEAR PATIENT.PLATINUM DENTAL CARE.

Friendly Doctor and Staff
I have to say that Dr. Pinkus at Platnum Dental is a WONDERFUL and CARING doctor. He evaluates every person's needs on an individual basis. The office is very relaxing and nice and his dental staff are very courteous and knowledgeable. His clinical skills are remarkable and I have felt totally comfortable with every visit and any of his recommendations.

Horrible Experience
I was referred to Dr. Pinkus by a friend who had gone there because I had pain and swelling in my gum. He referred me out for a root canal and I later came back for the crown. It seems I needed several other crowns too...what ever happened to filings! As much as Dr. Pinkus claims not to want to "pressure" you into having this expensive work done, his office calls constantly to schedule the work. I saw another dentist for a second opinion, and magically, I don't need a single crown! I DO NOT recommend Platinum Dental at all!!! The dentist I went to for the second opinion said he had heard the same thing from quite a few of his patients. My friend and I call Dr. Pinkus "Dr. Crown"! I highly do not recommend him

THIS REVIEW IS VERY MISLEADING.1.A FRIEND RECOMMENDED THIS PT.TO US,MEANING WE WERE A GOOD DENTAL OFFICE TO ACTUALLY HAVE ANOTHER PT.RECOMMEND US!.2.THE PT.CAME WITH A SWELLING AND WAS IMMEDIATELY REFERRED TO A ROOT CANAL SPECIALIST WHO WAS ABLE TO SAVE THAT TOOTH,MEANING WE DIAGNOSED IT RIGHT!3.THIS PT.ACTUALLY CAME BACK TO GET HIS CROWN DONE AFTER BEING AWAY FROM OUR OFFICE FOR A WEEK OR SO,MEANING WE DID NOT PRESSURE HIM/HER INTO ANYTHING AT ALL,THEY RETURNED ON THEIR OWN!WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PATIENT TO ANYONE!!!

Don't bite here
I went here unsuspecting. I needed some crown and amalgam work. Dr. Pinkus recited to me how competent he was, and I believed him, or at least wanted to-- brand new office, state of the art equipment, all the bells and whistles. So, I let him start. I soon began to question my judgment, but it was too late. He did get some teeth done--finally (and that is a story in itself), but only because I couldn't jump out of the chair and run. After that, I found another dentist who could do things right. Take some advice from someone who has been in his chair, avoid this guy.

THIS REVIEW IS ACTUALLY FUNNY BECAUSE ITS VERY NON-SPECIFIC AND MISLEADING.WE DO NOT HOLD ANYONE IN OUR OFFICE BY FORCE,BUT RATHER EXPLAIN THE WHOLE TREATMENT IN WRITING TO EVERYONE BEFORE DOING ANYTHING AT ALL.IT SEEMS TO ME THAT THE ONLY TRUE STATEMENT IN THAT RESPONCE IS THE FACTY THAT WE RE THE STATE OF THE ART OFFICE,SUPERIOR TO MANY OTHERS IN THIS TOWN.I GUESS YOU CANNOT PLEASE EVERYONE,THATS WHY PATIENTS HAVE A FREEDOM OF CHOICE,YET JUDGING FROM OUR OVER 40 GREAT REVIEWS,IT SEEMS THAT MANY PATIENTS WERE HAPPY TO CHOOSE US!

TOTAL NIGHTMARE, Worst Dental Office in Vegas
Do not do business with these crooks! I left this office in pain, agony and tears! Please folks, listen, don't go through what I did. I heard about Platinum dental through Kudzu because of the wonderful reviews. Come to find out half of them were written by Dr. Pinkus and his own staff. Save your money and a lot of mistreatment, DO NOT GO TO PLATINUM DENTAL. For anyone who had a good experience, consider yourselves lucky! Hope this helps!

SEEMS LIKE THAT REVIEW IS FALSE AND PROBABLY WRITTEN BY A DISGRUNTLED PATIENT ALTOGETHER WHO WE DID NOT ACTUALLY TREAT,BUT WAS PROBABLY UPSET WITH US DUE TO FINANCIAL REASONS.WHILE MANY DENTISTS ACTUALLY DO NOT GIVE THEIR PATIENTS A WRITTEN PROPOSAL TO TAKE HOME,WE DO THAT IN DETAIL.WE ALSO DO NOT START TREATMENT ON THE SAME DAY TO GIVE PATIENTS A CHANCE TO DECIDE THEIR START DATE.OVERALL I STRONGLY FEEL THAT WE FALL INTO TOP 1% OF THE DENTAL OFFICES IN LAS VEGAS IN TERMS OF TREATING OUR PATIENTS AND HAVING THE STATE OF THE ART DENTAL OFFICE FOR OUR PATIENTS,THE FACT THAT EVEN THE DISAPPOINTED PATIENTS ACTUALLY MENTION!COME SEE FOR YOURSELF.

Straight to the point
I was tired of getting the run around every where i went. A friend told me about Dr. Pinkus at Platinum Dental so I decided to try it out. The main thing I appreciated about him was that he didn't pull any punches he got straight to the point of what needed to be done. I also appreciated the fact that he and his staff made sure I fully understood what I needed to have done and in case their explaination wasn't enough they provided video demonstrations. By the way I am also very afraid and I had alot of work to do so he was able to sedate me so that my procedures went alot smoother. I just want to say thanks Dr. Pinkus, for everything.

Great dental in LV:)
I am from CA and have only been here for a year, but have been looking for a dentist. I got a post card in the mail that had some great deals and was near my house. The staff were all very helpful and nice. I had a deep claening done and would recommed it to everyone. Linda was a sweetheart. Dr. Alex was also so nice and really explained what she wanted me to get done. I am so glad that I found this dentist and I think everyone should try them out.:)

PLATINUM DENATL CARE IS THE BEST
I WAS IN AND OUT IN NO TIME. GAVE ME A GREAT PRICE. I WAS A BIT SCARED AT FIRST EVERYONE IS FRIENDLY, THEY MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE YOUR AT HOME. I FELT SO COMFORTABLE, I WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANYONE DR. PINKUS AND DR. HAMMOND ARE GREAT.
