Buckwalter Kevin MD

I have been Dr. Buckwalters patient since moving to Vegas in 1999, He treats my 68yr old Husband, My 95yr old father and myself, and my 32 yr old son. We are always given the utmost care and referrals to rule out any additional problems he might find. He listens like Dr. used to do and does NOT try to play God like some do. You are not a number with Buckwalter but a person he personally cares about. He stays up on the lastest medicines and treaments. I have seen other Dr before finding Buckwalter and NOT one of them even listened or looked me in the eye!!! Arlene McCann-Kordick

Dr. Buckwalter is a quack! Keep your kids and older children away from him. Dr buckholder gave my 21 year old niece methadone, oxy and various other opiates and never diagnoised anything. After two years and one overdose while in dr buckwalters care she put a bullet into her head on Aug 26, 2008. Shame on you dr.

The office staff is extremely unfriendly and unprofessional. When you ask to speak with the office manager, there is none. You are told the Dr Buckwalter manages the office (poorly). The office gives you the run around and is very inefficent helping you with requests. Also, he is a poor diagnostician. Unless you want a doctor the just refers, or someone that will hand out narcotics instead of figure out what the underlying problem is, go to someone else.

Dr. Kevin Buckwalter is a unique breed. They don't make them like him anymore. Even though he is young, he still comes across to me as "small town". And by that I mean, he has time for everyone and everyone gets their time.

Dr. Buckwalter seems to be very quiet and passive which is a drug addicts dream. My husband, daughter, and I used to be patients of Dr. Buckwalter until my husband and I realized that our 27 year old daughter developed a drug problem and we believe that it was caused by Dr. Buckwalters carelessness in writing too many medications. I know that he would prescribe her medictions such as methadone, morphine, ambien, xanax and oxycontin at the same Dr's visit and on a monthly basis. As far as I know my daughter never even had any xrays done to prove that she needed all this medication. All she would have to do is complain and say I want this and he would write her a prescription.I begged my daughter to stop seeing the doctor for strong meds but it was too late, she was hooked.The DEA and the Medical Association need to step up and start investigating his practice and even his staff to give the Dr. a wake up call. Dr. Bucklwalter needs to realize that he isn't healing anyone, he is only hurting and slowly ruining his patients lives.

MY BROTHER WENT TO THIS SO CALLED DOCTOR AND WAS DEAD THE NEXT DAY. AFTER SEEING THIS DOCTOR FOR ALMOST TWO YEARS MY BROTHER WAS HAVEING A PROBLEM WITH SLEEP APNEA .I DONT KNOW IF YOU REALY KNOW WHAT THIS MEANS? LET ME JUST SAY IF YOU HAVE THIS THE DOCTOR KEEPS A CLOSE EYE ON YOU DURING AND RIGHT AFTER SUGRY BECAUSE YOU AND GET TO WHERE YOU ARNT BREATHING WITH DHIS CONDITION. MY BROTHER TOLD THE DOC THIS AS WELL AS THE OTHER PROBLEMS LIKE HE WAS HAVEING TROUBLE BREATHING AND FELLT BAD FOR THE LAST MONTH. THE DOCK HEARD ALL OF THIS AND STILL GAVE MY BRO METHADONE AND NOT JUST A LITTLE HE GAVE HIM 120 MGS A DAY. THEY DONT GIVE YOU THAT MUCH WHEN YOU START AT AMETHADONE CLNIC. HE HAD ALSO GIVEN HIM SLEEPING PILLS AND 3 KINDS OF PAIN PILL INCLUDING MORPHINE NOW EVEN I KNOW IF A PERSON IS HAVEING A HARD TIME BREATHING HAS SLEEP APNEA AND HASENT FELT GOOD FOR AT LEAST A MONTH. I KNOW MY BROTHER TOOK THE METHADONE AND NEVER WOKE UP THERE WAS NO REASON A HEALTHY MAN IN HIS 40S SHOULD GO TO SLEEP AND DIE. YOU MAKE UP YPUR MIND?
