Wow! I lived in Japan for 3 years. I really miss eating sushi at the sushi go around once a week. I was really impressed with the quality and the service. Our waitress was so wonderful and she recommended rolls for us to try based on spicyness, and what we already ordered. 2 of us got all you can eat and 1 got a california roll for $5 that was huge. They also have yakitori and chicken curry for those that might not favor rawness. The selection was amazing. There are some really interesting creations. I can't wait to go back and try more. Great!!

We love Sushi Tachi
We have been to many all you can eat places in Vegas including the well knowns like Makino, but Sushi Tachi is far and away the best!!! It is fresh and there are a wide variety of options including authentic Japanese sides like yakisoba, and gyoza! It is the best!!!

Beautiful Japanese run Sushi restaurant by Lydia S. at InsiderPages
This beautiful little sushi restaurant is tucked away in North Las Vegas at the intersection of Simmons and Ann Rds. Don't blink or you may miss it!
The restaurant is clean, well kept and well run. The staff is friendly, if not accommodating. The menu isn't very large but everything, that we tried at least, was perfectly executed. While they aren't as willing to customize a roll for you, they do have some interesting and varied sushi ideas in their menu.
They do serve ACYE (All you can eat), have stamp cards, and do half portions. They charge $26.95 for dinner and $21.95) for lunch. They charge children depending on height (3ft is $10.95 and 4 ft is $14.95).
I don't know if I'd consider this worthy of a drive from say, Henderson. But I definitely think you should visit if you are in the area.

High quality, but no creativity
Fairly standard selection of rolls, but everything is nice and fresh. The service is quick, but you don't feel like it's personal in any way. Worth going back, but I wouldn't go there on a date.

Not that great
Although the establishment has a great atmosphere the service and sushi quality fall short. My wife and I have been to several Sushi establishments across town and have generally been satisfied by the food and service provided. At Sushi Tachi you have the option of a la carte or all you can eat sushi for one hour. I decided to get the all you can eat for 25.95. The all you can eat menu and the a la carte menu are the same yet the quality of sushi that is given is very different. For example, the Rainbow roll given to the table behind us was beautiful and very well put together (they were paying for each roll separately). Our Rainbow roll on the other hand looked like a blind 2 year old white kid put it together and forgot to put half the ingredients on the roll (we got all you can eat). I understand they are going to cut down on quality for the all you can eat people but at least make it somewhat comparable! If that was not bad enough, our waitress started to ignore us after about 20 minutes into service. We are sitting there while all this rice is expanding in our stomachs, trying to get another order in and our waitress suddenly has hearing loss and "cant hear" when I am trying to get her attention. It didn?t help that she also refused to make eye contact. Then when we finally do get her attention after practically throwing a handfull of wasabi in her face, she seems all put out that we wanted more. I'm sitting there thinking to myself "I have 40 minutes to go and you are already giving me a hard time about ordering more?!" I personally think our waitress was one of the owners and thought we had eaten our moneys worth within the first 20 minutes, therefore thinking she could just ignore us. Bottom line is do not get the all you can eat package unless you feel like an evening of lousy sushi and even lousier service.

Beautiful ACYE Sushi Restaurant that needs work
This is a beautiful and clean, relatively new, Japanese sushi restaurant that serves ACYE (all you can eat).
The staff is friendly and after you place your order, the food comes out quickly. The problem is getting the staff's attention in the first place is quite hard.

The fish itself is fresh and there is a wide number of americanized rolls. The rolls are good and creative but the flavor is lacking in all the sushi that I tried. They also include a few appetizers and a few desserts with the ACYE menu.

All in all it is a good restaurant that with some work, could be a really good restaurant.
