Ventano Italian Corner & Oyster Bar

I love to visit Ventano's. This Italian Restaurant and Oyster Bar is fantastic. The menu is a good size and includes many delicious options including a very yummy carbonara. The views of the Las Vegas strip are amazing. The waitstaff are very attentive and know the menu well. The chef often comes out into the dining area to talk with the guests. I always make a reservation, but I don't think that it is totally necessary.

Yes, the view is beautiful, the food stinks. I've had Lasagna and chicken there and both lack taste. This place is expensive if you are on a budget. Also, the service is horrible. You have to wait and wait just to get a 2nd drink!

The first thing we saw was the perfect view of the Strip through the floor to ceiling windows. It definitely set the mood for the evening.

The server was friendly and attentive, though we came late in the night and they were out of a few of the menu and wine choices.

The food was perfectly executed, the carpaccio was delicate, the arrabiata was bold, the seafood was tender and the desserts were heavenly.

The bill is more than I normally spend at Italian restaurants, as the entrees were in the 20's and the pastas in the high teens.

But I think this is definitely worth the money as a special occassion dinner.

I live in Salt Lake City and travel to Las Vegas often, and everytime I am in town, I always make it a point to stop at Ventanos they have great service and AMAZING food. The prices are very reasonable too. Even if you just go for drinks, you will be sure to get hooked on the warm bread and dipping sauce they serve!! YUM!

If you are in Henderson this is a must! When you enter the first thing you notice are the floor to ceiling windows that have a perfect panoramic view of the strip. At night it is just gorgeous.
This is a fine dining establishment so don't expect Olive Garden prices. However it is well worth the price and the portions are generous. So much so that I have never been able to try the desserts

In summary, the staff is friendly, the food is terrific and did I mention the view?

I've written about numerous restaurants in Las Vegas..my #1 choice for great Italian food is Mimmo Ferraro's (outstanding risotto and osso buco)BUT..if you are looking for a more comfortable, Italian restaurant with outstanding attention to Italian "comfort food" and qualitythen this wonderful restaurant will become your favorite. This is the kind of restaurant that is run by people who care about their customers and "move heaven and earth" to see to it that the customer is, not only, happybut wants to return and join the family that calls this restaurant HOME! THere is no need to guide you toward any of the dishes,,,,they are all made with quality and care. THe level of the dishes is amazing.considering, also, the resonable prices. The wine list is nicely arranged and is exceptional for its value.ask the sommelier, Mike, what goes best with your food. And, don't forget.when the owner/chef comes to your table to ask how everything is (and he will).tell him that it's wonderful and you will be back. That means you have just joined a growing and very happy "family"!!

If you like Italian cuisine, and who doesn't, this is a "must try". We live here in Henderson and have been eating out in Las Vegas for 16 years. Ventano's is by far our favorite restaurant. The staff does a remarkable job making you feel special and the kitchen makes sure that you enjoy the cuisine. Every dish is prepared and presented with the guests in mind.
Start with the fresh baked bread sticks wit some balsamic vinegar and olive oil --I ask for parmesan cheese and garlic as well. Any appetizer to follow won't disappoint. We usually enjoy the shrimp on a stone. The soups and salads are always fresh and delightful,even the grilled romaine salad which I had to try. I didn't think warm lettuce would be very good but it was delicious as prepared. We've tried everything on the main menu and each dish has it's own identity. My wife loves the Gnocci with pink sauce,my daughter always gets the Tortellini, and I usually get whatever the waiter recommends. For dessert you gotta ask for the "zeppolini" (sp) and ask the waiter to explain this dish to you. It is a dessert to be shared between 2-3 people and very satisfying to end the evening with. We take all of our visitors there and they have always been VERY impressed with the experience.
The ambience and views are incredible, to say the least, but we go for the food and the service. The prices are reasonable and the portions are very large, but don't go if you are in a hurry since everything in made to order, and if you know anything about Italian food it takes awhile, BUT WORTH THE WAIT!!!
Chef Arneault, the owner, always makes the table rounds to make sure that you are happy with your experience. He is a genuine person and really does care about his patrons and this is reflected through his staff.

I do enjoy great ambience, exceptional food,and exceptional service, which is why we go to Ventanos for every special occasion and then some. Try it you'll like it.

Yes, the view is great - but you can't eat view. Service is OK - never really good but usually average. Wait staff is friendly but not very sharp. Food is OK -- nothing to write home about. Serving bread in a paper bag is barely a step better than serving wine in a paper bag.

From the outside, this place looks like a quaint restaurant, but upon entering, it's quite grand! The staff is TOP NOTCH, great wine selection, family style dining, and a VIEW of The Strip! Food is excellent of course! Great ambiance, great service, FANTASTIC Italian entrees.

Fantastic neighborhood Italian food!! Great views and good food. Shrimp on a stone is great, The Clams are some of the best in town. Great wine selection to compliment the food.. A must to try..
