Dr Mayes is wonderful. She is caring, attentive, and actually listens. Wow, a doctor who cares is pretty rare, it seems.
But her staff is horrible! The waits are always long, the waiting room is dark and hot. Plus the staff is rude, unorganized, and inefficient. One will schedule an appointment for you, then another calls to cancel it, then you call to reschedule and they tell you you owe for missing the other appointment! They try to charge you for other people's visits too.
If only Dr. Mayes found a new staff, she would be one of the best in town.

She was my OB for my 1st child & is for my 2nd now. She is very thorough and takes the time you need to discuss any issues you have. Her office is a tad busy, but with good reason - she's fantastic.

Dr Mayes is a conscientious physician who cares about her patients. She covers all bases by referring her patients to surgeons as she deems necessary. The patient must be knowledgeable and ask pertinent questions in order to make an informed decision. A second opinion is always essential.
