Centennial Hills Salon & Day Spa

I regret not walking right out the door yesterday. A very expensive cut at $65 and I am still crying!!!!!!!!! I have never had such an awful haircut in my life. I asked for a bob, not to look like Bob. I will NEVER go again!!!
If you want to look good, take your money elsewhere!

After reading the reviews below a lot must have changed over the year, because I have been going since February this year and have seen the same stylist since because she has helped recover my hair after excessive damage from another stylist at a different salon overprocessed my hair! I absolutely love Aveda Salons in the first place and when I come here it upholds my expectations, my stylist always ensures that I know what will be applied to my hair and ensures that I'm satisified with my hair cut before I leave. Thats true customer service and the receptionists are always very welcoming and so kind. If your military they offer a military discount too.

Not only were the employees rude, from the staff at the front desk to the stylists, I got the worst color and cut of my life! You would think paying over $200 you would get quality services but that is not the case at this place. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. Save your money and find another salon. I am so disappointed in Aveda for even letting this salon be in buisness! Also, they may want to look into getting some new managment!!

Do not go here!!! They cannot do hair!! Its pricey and so not worth the money!!! I will never go back

Lets see.. pretty much a waste of money. Snobby employees and horrible managment! Not too mention my hair looks so bad! I called to let them know and they ignored me and acted like they really didnt care what so ever. I am sticking to my other salon. I thought I would give them a try considering Aveda is a great product. what a mistake! Now I have to get my hair fixed and I will not be going there to have them ruin it again!

I have worked for AVEDA for many years and met a lot of very inspiring people along my journey. I do have to say that when I 1st learned about Centennial Hills I was truly excited, but after working there my excitement drizzled! So many people come and go and the quality of service has suffered. I feel they really need to treat their staff with more respect and things would turn around! Thank goodness for the AVEDA products or who knows where they would be!

Not only did I not get the stylist I requested and reserved, but I also was dyed brown after requesting to go blonde for the summer. After spending a few hundred dollars, I expected to get the master stylist I was paying for. I was sorely disappointed. Upon returning to the salon to speak with the manager, my husband and I were told that my brown was a dark shade of blonde and that I was stuck with it. I have and will continue to tell everyone I know to never go to this salon.

I had my hair & nails done as well as my eyebrows waxed The haircut was awful - the stylist apparently did not know what a bob was -- nor a drastic angle Plus she gave me these thin weird bangs.. I had to get it fixed somewhere else The lady that did my eyebrows ripped off my skin The wax was so hot it peeled my skin right off! Then she tried to blame me! She told me that I must over exfoliate or something -- no lady, your wax just scolded me! My nail service was a pleasurable experience. I went back there a few time for fills However, the nail tech started to get lazy and the quality went down I was going out of my pay to see her and paying nearly double the price then other salons so I stopped going there. The only real plus for this place is their products -- Aveda.

I recently moved to Las Vegas and spent quite a bit of time searching for a salon. I decided to try Centennial Hills Salon because it is an Aveda salon, and because it is close to my house. What a mistake! From the very beginning, it was TERRIBLE. When making the appointment over the phone, the guy was very rude and condescending to me after I told him I was taking advantage of a promotional offer. When I arrived, I was rushed in and barely spoken to. My beautician was somewhat talented, but very unfriendly. She was doing someone else's hair at the same time she was doing mine! She started going to the back to 'mix my color' before I was satisfied with the plan for the cut & color. She was clearly rushing to get rid of me. During the torturous time I had there, I heard more than one gossipy hairdresser talking about their clients when they walked away! More hassles when I went to pay - because of the coupon. Why run promotions if your staff is clueless about how to handle them, and rude on top of it!? Oh, what a purely miserable experience. I am tempted to write to Aveda about this, as I am sure the company would be distressed about such a low quality salon using their good name and products. I would suggest avoiding this salon at all costs.
