WORST HAIRCUT EVER
I regret not walking right out the door yesterday. A very expensive cut at $65 and I am still crying!!!!!!!!! I have never had such an awful haircut in my life. I asked for a bob, not to look like Bob. I will NEVER go again!!!
If you want to look good, take your money elsewhere!

Not a great place
I have worked for AVEDA for many years and met a lot of very inspiring people along my journey. I do have to say that when I 1st learned about Centennial Hills I was truly excited, but after working there my excitement drizzled! So many people come and go and the quality of service has suffered. I feel they really need to treat their staff with more respect and things would turn around! Thank goodness for the AVEDA products or who knows where they would be!

Average is a stretch...
I had my hair & nails done as well as my eyebrows waxed The haircut was awful - the stylist apparently did not know what a bob was -- nor a drastic angle Plus she gave me these thin weird bangs.. I had to get it fixed somewhere else The lady that did my eyebrows ripped off my skin The wax was so hot it peeled my skin right off! Then she tried to blame me! She told me that I must over exfoliate or something -- no lady, your wax just scolded me! My nail service was a pleasurable experience. I went back there a few time for fills However, the nail tech started to get lazy and the quality went down I was going out of my pay to see her and paying nearly double the price then other salons so I stopped going there. The only real plus for this place is their products -- Aveda.

Rude, Unprofessional Staff
I recently moved to Las Vegas and spent quite a bit of time searching for a salon. I decided to try Centennial Hills Salon because it is an Aveda salon, and because it is close to my house. What a mistake! From the very beginning, it was TERRIBLE. When making the appointment over the phone, the guy was very rude and condescending to me after I told him I was taking advantage of a promotional offer. When I arrived, I was rushed in and barely spoken to. My beautician was somewhat talented, but very unfriendly. She was doing someone else's hair at the same time she was doing mine! She started going to the back to 'mix my color' before I was satisfied with the plan for the cut & color. She was clearly rushing to get rid of me. During the torturous time I had there, I heard more than one gossipy hairdresser talking about their clients when they walked away! More hassles when I went to pay - because of the coupon. Why run promotions if your staff is clueless about how to handle them, and rude on top of it!? Oh, what a purely miserable experience. I am tempted to write to Aveda about this, as I am sure the company would be distressed about such a low quality salon using their good name and products. I would suggest avoiding this salon at all costs.

Overall, below average.
My stylist is the only reason I go here. I find the services over-priced, and the noise from the salon seeps into the spa area ~ not very relaxing. Customer service is average, with, very often, the stylists carrying on loud conversations over even louder music. Again, if not for my stylist, I would go elsewhere.

Too high hopes?
My friend highly recommended this salon. I found that the place was very trendy and clean. The staff was very accommodating. I did however have to wait a few weeks to get an appointment. My haircut was a bit more pricey than expected. My hair looked fabulous when I left. When I did my hair the next day I did notice that it was more than a little bit longer on one side.

Wonderful service
They take great care of you at Centennial Salon, starting with offering you a drink when you walk in the door to giving you a hand massage while your hair is being conditioned.

pamper yourself
I've been to Aveda more times than I can remember for pedicures and massages. They are on the high end for prices but if you are military make sure you ask for their military discount which is 10% off. I personally recommend the hot stone massage and the spa pedicure. I haven't had any salon services done there because I use Ulta instead. I agree that the check in and check out staff are usually disorganized and not nearly as friendly as those that provide services, but I am 100% happy with Aveda.

good service
Aveda speciality salon, offering nail, hair and spa services. Pricey. The front-desk staff seem to be a bit disorganized but the staff doing the actual work are excellent.
