Go elsewhere if possible.
Outpatient surgery staff sincerely attempt to exude a caring persona; however, they are short staffed and are unable to adequately attend to the patients' needs. Emergency room care has its own shortcomings. Patients who must be admitted are treated with little to no understanding and compassion. Based upon limited experience, I would hesitate to recommend UMC to my friends.
